John Woolley grew up in the Camas Washougal area, and graduated from Washougal High School. While attending Washougal schools, he became an active member of the school band program. John played saxophone in both the Jazz and Symphonic bands, under the direction of Gordon Washburn. He later attended Central Washington University as a Music Education major. John also plays guitar, bass guitar, and piano in his spare time, and has taught private music lessons for over 14 years.
In addition to music, John Woolley is a life long Portland Trailblazers fan. Not content with merely watching basketball, he started a blog to write articles about the Blazers at: www.redblackandsilver.com. When he is not selling real estate in Camas or Washougal, John enjoys pouring through stats and sets of data on the Southwest Washington housing market in the same way he does when researching a new Blazers article.
John has been using computers since he was 6 years old. He got into technology and the internet at a young age. Having previously worked at a help desk as a technician, he has experience finding solutions for complex problems. Whether helping clients choose a house as a buyers agent, or assessing the market to assist sellers in their listings John uses all of the current tools available.
When looking at the real estate market around Portland, Camas and Washougal were an obvious choice. John played basketball on the playgrounds and gyms at Hathaway and Gause. He started a life long journey of music in the band rooms at Jemtegaard and Washougal High School. Having grown up in the 98671 zip code, John has a love and appreciation of the houses, culture, and scenery of Washougal, Washington that anyone who lives there can understand. When your drive home along highway 14 includes a beautiful snow capped Mt. Hood in the distance, what more could you ask for?
